About Me

Two things to know about me: I once ran myself over with a car, and I like to design fun experiences (not mutually exclusive).

My style is heavily influenced by the stylings of Naoto Fukasawa, Monty Python, vintage auto racing liveries, and blank VHS labels.

I’m a cat walker, nature photographer, and mountain biker. I love all animals, except centipedes. When I was a kid, a mountain lion kitten walked over my lap (the only time I’ve ever been glad to be considered boring). I’m into bird watching, acrobatic kites, and bonsai.

I’ve tackled some ridiculous projects. I designed some of the first accelerometer-controlled mobile games, the most complex GPS app for iPhone, a Swiss-made horological smartwatch companion app, and a whole sleep-monitoring ecosystem.

What really drives me is my desire to create and continue learning as much as I can.

I’m ready to take on anything.

Design requires a huge number of tools, these are a few of my favorites.
